General - What is MonthlyTravel.com? MonthlyTravel.com is a travel site featuring the best travel products, destinations, stories and tips. But here’s the twist -- we don’t decide what’s the best of the best, YOU do. The great content you’ll find on our site was all submitted by our community members. We invite you to share your favorite places and products, and to rate & review the submissions of others. We want to know what you think!
- What is The Traveler?
The Traveler is our weekly e-newsletter that goes out to all our members. Each week, we will feature the top rated entries from our site. So you'll get the top rated products, destinations and tips delivered straight to your inbox.
- How do I become a member? It is easy to join our community. Simply click here and enter your email address. You will then be prompted to select either our Free or VIP membership & create your account.
- What do I get as part of my membership? Community members receive a free 3 day, 2 night hotel stay and are eligible for rewards for their contributions to the community. VIP members will receive TWO 3 day, 2 night hotel stays and are eligible for enhanced, ongoing rewards, discounts & other benefits.
- How do I earn rewards? Community members can earn a $25 gift card for their first 20 approved listings. If your entry is featured in The Traveler, we will send you a $25 gift card. The more you contribute, the more chances you have to win! VIP members can earn a $25 gift card every month in which they submit 10 or more approved listings. If your entry is featured in The Traveler, we will send you a $50 gift card. The more you contribute, the more chances you have to win!
- How much does it cost to join MonthlyTravel.com? It is absolutely FREE to join the MonthlyTravel.com community. The cost of VIP membership is $9.95 per month and you may cancel at anytime. For billing related questions, please see below under “Billing.”
- What’s the catch? Well there isn't one. There are no gimmicks, no time share presentations, no surveys to complete, no offers to commit to, and no purchases required! All you need to do is sign up, and we will immediately email you your certificate for your trip. To receive your hotel accommodations, you’ll need to complete the certificate online or mail it in. You will be asked to pay a small processing fee.
- How do I get my free hotel stay(s)?

Through our partners, we are able to provide free access to many hotels and resorts in fantastic locations across the US and beyond. These places rely on travel promotion companies like ours to help keep their properties fully booked.
- How is MonthlyTravel.com able to give away free hotel stays?
MonthlyTravel.com has established partnerships in order to bring you access to many hotels and resorts in fantastic locations across the US and Mexico at great rates. These hotels and resorts rely on travel promotion companies like ours to help keep their properties booked. Our free gifts are courtesy of our many partners who want you to try out their products in hopes that you will tell your friends and family about them!
- How often will I receive emails from Monthly Travel? You will receive The Traveler e-newsletter once a week, containing the highest rated travel destinations, products and tips as submitted by our member community.
- Do you have a refer a friend program? Yes. If you are a community or VIP member, you can refer your friends and family to sign up.
Billing - How will my membership be billed? You will be billed in monthly installments of $9.95 on the credit or debit card you provided at time of signup. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Your card will first be charged on the date that you joined our program. You will then be charged monthly thereafter on the same day of each month.
- Will I receive a paper invoice? No, you will not receive a paper invoice. We will automatically bill your card each month.
- What do I do if I decide to cancel my membership? You may cancel your membership at any time simply by notifying us on the Manage My Account page. If your monthly billing has already gone through then your cancellation will take effect before the next billing period. MonthlyTravel.com does not issue refunds on monthly membership fees that have already been billed.
